Each year the Central Florida AAAA chapter holds a Toys for Tots fundraiser. Many local businesses and individuals donate toys for the families in need. Toys for Tots is a Marine Corps Reserve program which began in 1947 and relies on volunteers and donations to make it the success it has become today. Marines attending the events are often reserve Marines who are donating their time, alongside their active duty counterparts, to attend the events to ensure every child possible is given the opportunity to smile a little more during the holidays. Last year, over 15.6 million toys were collected helping over 7.2 million children.
